YES WE CAN, YES WE CAN!!!!!!

Obama style redistribution invoking the true spirit of motivation and work ethic in those hit hardest by the economic crisis.  There will be another sound bite up tomorrow from Rush with one lady stating emphatically "It's Obama money, we love Obama, that's why we voted for him...Obama! Obama!!"

Instead of the stimulus creating jobs as advertised it's just welfare as usual.  Paid for by the taxpayers.  If you're NOT MAD then YOU'RE NOT PAYING ATTENTION. 

Interestingly enough, Detroit has been a politically liberal controlled city for a while.  What's the matter?  Liberal social programs aren't working?  Well, just throw more money at the problem.  YES WE CAN, YES WE CAN!!!! Man, I'm excited, can I get a stimulus?

It's Obama money folks, welfare has a new name, Obama money.  Or "funds that was forgiven by Obama."

Mixed Signals

I'm confused.  I'm an American and I'm confused.  What exactly does my Government want me to do?  I feel so stupid, helpless and lost.  I am stupid, well at least that's how my leaders treat me.  A little over a year ago I got weally weally scwared because everybody around me started losing money and jobs and I was like "PLEASE HELP...PLEASE elected officials bail us out.  Just give us money please."  Well not really, I knew all along that sub prime lending was going to lead to catastrophe.  Didn't take a rocket scientist to see the ripple effect the housing crash would have on the entire economy.  The first bail out was inevitable like a knee jerk reaction.  Then bailing everybody out became the norm.  Stimulus!!!!  Stimulate me.  How far can stimulus go if people don't have jobs? 

Since Obama has taken office the spending has gotten out of control, the justification?  BUSH.  It's like beating your wife and telling her you do it because you love her too much.  Despite a very fragile economy, our new administration seems to have no problem with very high cost stimulus packages and Government programs all dependent on tax revenue.  I DO NOT GET IT.  How is America going to pay for these deficit increasing programs if there is high unemployment?

So on to the blatant contradiction and economical paradox, riddle, head scratcher.  That little extra bit of money (stimulus) you have seen in your paycheck since early Spring wasn't put there so you can save it.  It was put there so you can spend it, and stimulate the economy (oooohhhh THAT's where they got the name from).  The Government banks on the fact that lower middle class or working poor people don't save but spend their money quickly, the liberals don't care if you improve your station in life because they make money and gain power from your plight.  

So let's go over the facts.  The people of this country spent over a decade spending more than they earned.  This caused a ginormous credit crisis and now the Government spends even more to bail out well...just about everyone who screwed up (businesses and individuals).  So basically, people were rewarded for being irresponsible...we socialized our losses in the free market.  Then the Government spends more money so that you can spend more money.  All the while introducing new programs to increase Government spending and eventually taxes.  Here comes the kicker...here comes the ultimate mixed signal and it comes from Tim the Tax Cheat Geithner...

Yesterday in Germany, Geithner said, "Everyone is going to have to come to terms with the fact that we are going to save more in the United States. . . If the U.S. starts saving more, that changes the whole world's economic reality."

WWWWWHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTT????????? The United States needs to all of the sudden "save more" as our Government sets the worst example possible by introducing TRILLIONS to our national debt.  Who the F pays for the debt?  WE DO.  Taxes will consume Americans and they will have EVEN LESS to save than they already do.  Coupled with the fact that there is high unemployment and many people are living off of tax money (unemployment). 

If our Government wants us to save more, they would have to decrease spending.  You see, when they spend more, you pay more in taxes which decreases your after tax income.  To keep putting the same amount of money into the economy you'd have to save less of your after tax disposable income.  If you saved more and spent less there would be less money in the economy and thus less jobs for people.

Get it?  Got it? Good.

This is just insane.  Liberals are so confused.

CNN No Longer Hiding Bias

Did they really fact check the SNL Obama skit?  REALLY?  I mean REEEEAAALLLY?  How many times has SNL parodied the President in the last 30 + years?  Making fun of the President on SNL is as American as overnight trillion dollar deficits.

CNN doesn't want the pot smoking liberals who still watch SNL to get confused and think Obama really is a "do-nothing" President.

Paul Krugman Thinks Conservatives are Immature

Read his pathetic rant here.  He complains that Conservative reaction to Obama failing to bring the 2016 Olympics to the corrupt city of Chicago is childish.  Oh, you mean like the joyous reaction by the liberal media, blog and body at large when an Iraqi journalist hurled shoes at George W. Bush?  I recall reading the liberal blogs then, people were upset that Bush didn't get hurt.  What hypocrites.

Kind of like how Pelosi calls passionate but peaceful opposition to Obama's policies dangerous but violent liberal protests were ok.  Click here for just one example of an out of control liberal protest.

To really grab the American people and sell them on how legit his Government take over plan for health care is...Obama made sure all of the doctors present at his speech really looked the part, so he handed out costumes.  After all, can you really diagree with someone wearing a white coat?

Cash for Clunkers - I Said This All Along

From the Wall Street Journal on Sunday: 

( I said all along, billions in tax payer money to subsidize consumers for a few WEEKS of non organic and misleading industry growth).

"Remember "cash for clunkers," the program that subsidized Americans to the tune of nearly $3 billion to buy a new car and destroy an old one? Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood declared in August that, "This is the one stimulus program that seems to be working better than just about any other program."

If that's true, heaven help the other programs. Last week U.S. automakers reported that new car sales for September, the first month since the clunker program expired, sank by 25% from a year earlier. Sales at GM and Chrysler fell by 45% and 42%, respectively. Ford was down about 5%. Some 700,000 cars were sold in the summer under the program as buyers received up to $4,500 to buy a new car they would probably have purchased anyway, so all the program seems to have done is steal those sales from the future. Exactly as critics predicted.

Cash for clunkers had two objectives: help the environment by increasing fuel efficiency, and boost car sales to help Detroit and the economy. It achieved neither. According to Hudson Institute economist Irwin Stelzer, at best "the reduction in gasoline consumption will cut our oil consumption by 0.2 percent per year, or less than a single day's gasoline use." Burton Abrams and George Parsons of the University of Delaware added up the total benefits from reduced gas consumption, environmental improvements and the benefit to car buyers and companies, minus the overall cost of cash for clunkers, and found a net cost of roughly $2,000 per vehicle. Rather than stimulating the economy, the program made the nation as a whole $1.4 billion poorer.

The basic fallacy of cash for clunkers is that you can somehow create wealth by destroying existing assets that are still productive, in this case cars that still work. Under the program, auto dealers were required to destroy the car engines of trade-ins with a sodium silicate solution, then smash them and send them to the junk yard. As the journalist Henry Hazlitt wrote in his classic, "Economics in One Lesson," you can't raise living standards by breaking windows so some people can get jobs repairing them.

In the category of all-time dumb ideas, cash for clunkers rivals the New Deal brainstorm to slaughter pigs to raise pork prices. The people who really belong in the junk yard are the wizards in Washington who peddled this economic malarkey."

When Obama's Fabrications Become Obvious

    We all know Obama's Government take over health care plan is in trouble.  Not because of Republicans but because many Democrats can't agree on the level of socialism and tax hikes they want to apply ( a little much? lol).  Couple that with job numbers showing that his nearly trillion dollar stimulus hasn't produced job growth or even job saving as advertised and we set the stage for a gross fabrication.  Obama tried to turn two negatives into a big positive when he said his health care reform would help stimulate the economy because less people would be scared to start businesses.  Really?  Do we have any numbers to substantiate that claim or is that just a very subjective opinion?  If this is true, how come he didn't make that pitch all along, before the damning job numbers for September came out?  The more obvious his fabrications become, the more desperate the administration appears.

Obama says, ""who've got a good idea and the expertise and determination to build it into a thriving business. But many can't take that leap because they can't afford to lose the health insurance they have at their current job." 

So Obama, how have people been starting small businesses at all in the last 20 years? 

Nowhere in the Small Business Administrations (SBA) report to the President in 2009 did it mention health care as a restrictive factor for small business growth.  If anything a weakened overall market (obviously) and access to credit seem to be the biggest factors.  So where did Obama get this from?  HE MADE IT UP. 

Months...Years in Control and the Liberal Mantra Remains the Same

  

     Years after the 2006 mid-term elections and nearly 9 months into Obama's Presidency and liberal politicians, administration officials and media cannot shake their favorite mantra..."Bush's fault, inherited mess, Bush's fault, inherited mess...MMM MMM MMM."  It's extended so far as to blame the Olympic decision to NOT hold the 2016 games in the crooked and corrupt city of Chicago on who else...Bush.  Illegitimate Illinois senator Roland Burris (who bought Obama's vacant senate seat from criminal and impeached Governor Blago) blamed the IOC's decision on the previous 8 years of Bush's foreign policy and that Obama hadn't had enough time to change that yet.

WOW.  How pathetic can it get?  For the record, I didn't think this was news worthy despite Obama spending $900,000.00 of tax payer money to fly overseas to make the pitch.

Bad News Will Go Away, If You Push Through My Agenda Today!!!!

In January, America was teetering on the brink of economic collapse, we need the stimulus!!!!  Stimulus passed, and the bad news has gone away!!!! But what has changed?  Nothing.  Bad news would suggest to the American people that spending your way out of a recession is likely to cause an unsustainable tax burden.  Bad economic news would suggest Obama's promises aren't coming true. 

AP reports:  "First-time claims for jobless benefits increased more than expected last week, a sign employers are reluctant to hire and the job market remains weak." 

Notice "more than expected."  All bad economic news since Obama has been in office has been followed with a footnote.  Who cares what you expected?  Did we expect the housing market to collapse?  Well, Republicans did but Barney Frank didn't (click here for a history lesson).  My point is, regardless of what "experts" expect, we need to deal in reality.  The reality is there is no job growth in America, stimulus plans that accommodate finite duration jobs will not bring our economy around.  There can be no real "jobless" recovery.  My question is, with all of the Government spending and a worsening job market...who is going to foot the bill?
