Have you noticed an influx of race related stories in the news lately? It's not because they are happening more frequently, it's because they are being reported more frequently. The design? To keep racism as a motivation for Obama opposition a lingering thought in the minds of Americans. Even if it's not true. Just yesterday I read a story about how Obama made interracial marriages acceptable and later that night, a story about an interracial marriage being denied by one judge in La. That's local news, not national news. If you're conservative, be prepared because the national media is on board. Being called a racist can end any debate, even if it's not true, and democrats have started a wide reaching campaign to keep race issues ever present in your mind. The more you see stories of Obama trying to unite people and the more random and spread out stories you see regarding certain INDIVIDUALS being racist...the more likely you are to fall for their strategy that anyone who opposes Obama is a racist.
Now don't confuse me, I don't think all race related stories shouldn't be reported but when you're inundated with them all of the sudden when Obama is facing opposition they can get to be pretty annoying. This country has become race obsessed and people have free range on calling everyone racist.
It's sickening.
Obama makes interracial marriages okLa jude denies marriage to interracial coupleThe intended message? Obama, the great unifier still faces opposition from white people who can't stop hating.
The reality? Someone subjectively inserted Obama into rising interracial marriage statistics that were on the rise before he even campaigned and some random judge (who apparently has done this before) told a couple it was against his personal beliefs and to go to another judge.
Keep it mind, I'm not condoning what the judge did, I'm just saying it's not a national news story.
