You can't get a straight answer because the white house keeps changing their story. In the beginning of the summer before we received "good news" indications that the recession may be slowing, the white house wanted you to know that the stimulus wasn't working yet because less than 3% of it had been utilized. After economists expressed some hope for the next year, the administration touted the stimulus as a driving force of confidence behind the economic turnaround. Get your story straight Obama. When unemployment was still rising passed that magic 10% number, the white house was in full spin mode claiming they inherited an economy worse than orginally thought. Now again unemployment has supposedly gone down slightly and we need to thank the stimulus.
On top of this contradictory BS is the fact that the stimulus will mostly provide for non organic growth and finite job creation. That is why most people are now doubting the logic of the STIMULUS.
WAIT UNTIL THEY SEE THEIR TAXES IN 2011!!!! HECK, WAIT UNTIL OUR GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN SEE THE TAXES!!!!!!
